StressPal Frontline: Essential Resilience Self-Care and Burnout Prevention is an easy-to-use training and engagement platform that aims to fundamentally change the way that individuals and organizations address burnout and build resilience. Through an easily consumable, structured, evidence-based training program, with a dedicated interactive community and emphasis on user anonymity, StressPal provides learners with the tools and ongoing support to achieve sustainable resilience against life stressors. In just minutes a day, StressPal users build foundational skills and shape their resilience muscle by engaging with the platform content, peers, and mentors—anonymously.

 

As user progress through the self-directed training, they cultivate their capacities for psychological flexibility and resilience – even in the heat of the moment – promoting more effective teamwork, collaboration, decision-making and well-being.

ThriveWell: A Workplace Well-Being Training Program for Healthcare Professionals

This well-being training program is a self-paced, online, interactive seven-module course that comes with a certificate and a badge from GMU. The objective of this training program is to increase self-awareness and enable flexible, adaptable, and creative thinking, giving participants greater agency in solving problems, responding to challenges, making decisions, and building a healthy personal and professional life. For more information, Click Here! 

ThriveWell: Training Instruction

Please read the instructions and click the button below to enroll in the course.  You will access the course in the Mason Center for Health Workforce Learning Management System (LMS). 

  1. If you do not have an LMS account, please make sure to complete the following two steps first:
    Navigate to the LMS registration website, click on the “Create new account” button and fill out a sign-up form:

  2. Confirm your account using your email and log in. Please note that it may take up to 15
    minutes for the confirmation email to be sent and it may come into your spam folder.
  3. Once you have your LMS account set up, navigate to the home page: https://www.vahlthwftrainingcenter.com/
  4. Scroll down to the section “Available courses” where you can
    see the course name “ThriveWell: Workplace Well-being For Healthcare Professionals”
    and click on the link. Alternatively, you try using this course link:

  5. Self-enroll into the course by clicking on the “Enroll Me” button
  6. Once enrolled, follow the activities and complete all seven modules to complete the course and receive the course certificate and ThirveWell Resiliency badge.

This module aims to define and explore trauma, grief, and loss, offering tools and techniques to cope healthily. It delves into the emotional journey post-loss, including acceptance, meaning-making, rebuilding relationships, and adjusting to a new normal. The healthcare profession's recent challenges highlight the importance of processing trauma both personally and professionally to build resilience. Interactive flip cards provide key definitions and concepts such as trauma, loss, grief, PTSD, and vicarious grief, encouraging reflection on personal experiences and coping mechanisms.
